Under the Dutch name of Bouwpioniers, we have created a construction branch, with its own construction facilities and specialized building team. By combining design & build, even better, affordable biobased housing concepts can be developed. In addition, Bouwpioniers is a 'steward owned' company, which guarantees all profit benefits our mission: a new, green building culture.

From tiny house communities to villas in the Dutch clay: together with our customers, we have realized beautifully pure and extremely sustainable residential projects in recent years. And so Woonpioniers has slowly but surely grown into a design agency with a recognizable style and extensive knowledge of ecological construction and community based housing projects. The time has therefore come for the next step; Bouwpioniers (translated as 'building pioneers')! A specialized 'steward owned' construction branch with its own facilities and a dedicated team that builds many of our projects. By combining 'design & build', we can achieve our innovative design goals even better.
Yes, depending on your exact location and the size of your Indigo. For EU customers all structural elements are prefabricated in the Netherlands (our home base) and can be transported by road.

Steward Ownership
We want to change the existing building culture not only on the level of design, but also on a business level. As a counter-reaction to profit maximization and the neglect of social and environmental issues, the proceeds from the construction of our projects by Bouwpioniers do not flow into individual pockets, but to a foundation called 'Bouwgoed'. This foundation is the official and sole owner of Bouwpioniers and aims to accelerate the social and ecological sustainability of construction. This proven business model removes personal financial incentives and ensures that profits are reinvested in the mission of the company (and its customers!).

Steward Ownership also promotes cooperation and solidarity between employees, because no one has a greater interest than the other. Because not only the investors build the company, the employees and customers also have a large share in the success of the company. This ensures a healthy and equal relationship within the company, where everyone gets the same opportunities. This is how we work on all levels to create a sustainable world in which we see a future.
